Slave TransactionsOn 14 May 1687 Hannibal van Bengale was sold by Wilhelm Kemp to Dominique de Chavonnes, for Rds. 40.3
On 29 June 1687 Scipio van Madagascar was sold by Jan Baptist Groeneveld to Dominique de Chavonnes de Caep de Goede Hoop, for Rds. 30. There is a disconnect in how Böeseken and Shell recorded this transaction. Böeseken says the purchaser was Gerrit Jansz.4,5
On 10 May 1689 Hannibal van Bengale was sold by Dominique de Chavonnes to Henning Hüsing, for Rds. 100.6
On 30 August 1689 Scipio van Madagascar was sold by Dominique de Chavonnes to Abraham Hartogh de Caep de Goede Hoop, for Rds. 50.7,8,9
