BirthOrigin*Warnar was from Nunspeet and was perhaps born there circa 1630. His age is estimated.1 
LandGrant* On 14 April 1657, Harmen Remajenne, Warnar Cornelisz:, Jan Martensz de Wacht and Hans Pietersz: Faesbenger were granted land 160 by 200 roods. The grant was signed by Johan Anthoniszoon van Riebeeck.2 
Monsterrollen and Opgaafrollen (Muster and tax rolls)On 31 May 1657 Warnar Cornelisz: was enumerated in the muster roll, among the free men, or vrijlieden.1
On 15 February 1658 Warnar Cornelisz: and Casper Brinckman were enumerated in the muster roll, among the freemen, as Brinckman's Company and owners. Enumerated with them were Gerrit Sandersz: and Tomas Robberts described as 'in their service.3'
Vrijbriewen and Burgher StatusOn 14 April 1657, Warnar Cornelisz: was granted a vrijbrief or letter of freedom which released him from his contractual obligations to the VOC and accorded him the status of vrijburgher or free burgher. The vrijbrief was signed by Rijcklof van Goens.4
