BaptismAdam van de Caep was baptized on 9 November 1710 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town). The baptism was witnessed by Jacob Cornelis and Sara van Madagascar.1 
Slave BirthsBefore 9 November 1710, Adam van de Caep was born in bondage and was owned by Simon van der Stel.1
