BaptismMagdalena van de Caep was baptized on 28 June 1711 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town). The baptism was witnessed by Lena van Tranquebaar and Joannes van der Cust. This witness has not been positively identified but Joannes van der Cust is(are) potentially the correct individual(s.)1 
Slave BirthsBefore 28 June 1711, Magdalena van de Caep was born in bondage and was owned by Abraham Hartogh.1
