Arrival* Circa 1699, Jacques Delporte and Sara Vitout arrived at the Cape from The Netherlands on board the Cattendyk which had departed on 10 December 1698.3 
Residence*He and Sara Vitout lived in 1699.6 
Names in the record, in publications, etc.4 October 1699, the name of Jacques was written in the record as Jacque Deporte.7
Between 30 November 1702 and 8 November 1711, the name of Jacques was written in the record as Jaques del Porte.8
4 October 1704, the name of Jacques was written in the record as Jacob de le Porte.9
Baptisms - WitnessJacques Delporte potentially witnessed the baptism of Sara Del Porte on 9 January 1729 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, Drakenstein, de Caep de Goede Hoop, this witness has not been positively identified.10
He and Suzanne Janse van Vuuren witnessed the baptism of Sara Maré on 7 September 1732 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, Drakenstein, de Caep de Goede Hoop.11
He and Susanna Maré witnessed the baptism of Susanna van Voore on 23 November 1732 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, de Caep de Goede Hoop.12
